Report for July 2010

July brought an 8% rise in the FTSE100 from 4914 to 5314. The three remaining shares in our portflio reflected that well, and indeed BHP Billiton showed a 12% rise. However, the Mutual Funds showed rather variable gains, and the US funds were particularly disappointing. Overall the portfolio ended up 3% at £18,470.

The Unit Value was fractionally up at 123.7 and we have £4,314 in cash.
